Home again....and after the last trip of summer. I have to admit, home feels....good! We spent a few days visiting Annapolis for our anniversary (a shiny, silvery one!). We enjoyed strolling the lovely historic town bay-front town and eating great crabs! I even taught a lovely Danish couple how to crack their first (and I'm thinking last!) every blue crab. It was a fun time!

Annapolis: A beautiful, historic town on the Chesapeake Bay area of Maryland.
We spent an afternoon in another Maryland bay-side town: St. Michaels. Picturesque is the best word I have. We are dreaming of a retirement home on the water there (lotto ticket: still being checked!)
The week was rounded out with a fun night out with both of my boys at a great (and winning!) Orioles game!
I think this is my new favorite photo! Carter in front of #8:Cal Ripken plaque....the joy is obvious!
He and I walked over to the game early....we enjoyed batting practice for a while and watched them prepare the field. It was all a blast!
And now...home. Home is good. I have a strong urge to get our my saw and start cutting something.
I also need to look at my to-do list from the beginning of the summer...but that will probably be just sad. On the other had, we've enjoyed many days of family fun. The house stuff will be here in the long run.
