This doesn't bode well....

Absolutely nothing.  And that's the problem.

Spring sprung here overnight.  That's how it happens around here....you just wake up one morning and the trees and flowers and bushes just sprung to life overnight.  Which leads to a lot of this.....

 ......and a lot of this.....

 .....which means the to-do list inside gets really hard to, well, get done.

My mind is here....in my flower patch.  Don't recognize what's growing? I'll identify them for you: Weeds.  That's what's growing!  I need to get on that soon so the flowers have a spot to come up!

All this to say that I really need to make myself a list of half-finished projects that I HAVE to get done soon.  I live with lists: a have a list for Michael's, a list for Lowe's, a list for the grocery store, and I need a to-do list or I'll find myself asleep in the treehouse again today. 

So here it is:

• Finish the trim in the basement;
• Finish tearing up the carpet on the steps;
• Finish hemming the curtains: one hemmed and one not is not a good look;
• Finish painting the cabinet in the living room;
• Finish the drawers for the hutch;
• Finish backing the hutch.

Ok, to be fair, I did go to Lowe's on that last one and was just overwhelmed with the choices.  I want white, but not too country; maybe I don't want white, but a bold color; flat? or beadboard?  Too many choices for now, but I did try.

So there is my "Finish" list, which I need to stick to because I already have the next lists going in my head.  Out outside is just calling my name....

Maybe it will rain a day or two next week.
