Friday faves.....

This has been a good week.  Beautiful weather; baseball practice; baseball game; baseball practice (seeing a trend?); lots of outside time; a newly (almost) finished downstairs paint color that I'm loving; Friday itself is a fave; a very quick trip between bus times to see my mom and get in a little shopping (but not enough); a to-do list that didn't get done, but progressed; a puppy sleeping on my feet.
wow....this one was almost as deep as I am!

So I went to Crate and Barrel today to check out sectional sofas for our (empty) basement room. We sat on them all. They were very comfy, almost too much. So I didn't fall in love with a sofa, but did check out these cool items:

And how awesome is this little table??  I just love it!  So no sectional yet, but tons of great ideas for the basement.  And the little storage stool cube? Persimmon.  Yep...close enough to orange for me.

And from this month's Better Homes and Gardens: Designer Anne Fox picked these lovely colors, which just solidifies the colors I want in my living room.  Yay!  Love this.

Another favorite for this week is Kate's Spring projects linky party over at www.centsationalgirl.com : check out the hundreds of projects to get you in the springy mood!  There are just so many creative ladies around the blogosphere.

Oh...one more favorite! A picture of what I want our basment to look like one day:
I found this originally on the Sherwin Williams website, which was was inspiration for the paint color.  I love everything about it!  So far I have the color, the floors....and.... that's about it. But it's nice to see an idea of what it can be one day.

This weekend I will update my weekly to-do list progress and show you the most exciting progress I made (and the messiest-to-cleanest winner!) and what still needs to be done.

And if spring hasn't made it to your "neck of the woods" yet, I hope it's on it's way soon....it's really quite lovely. Until then, Happy Weekend!

Guess what we have on the agenda? Baseball ... Surprise!
