Revisit: Fabric covered boxes

This one is good enough that it deserves a re-visit. It's so simple, cheap (or free!), and adds so much color and fun to otherwise boring storage options.

Fabric covered boxes.  I first saw them on Pinterest, and quickly made one last year to join in on a Pinterest challenge....(you can read about that in this post).  It was a fast and furious project, thinking time would end if I didn't get a link up to this linky party that day.  That was so wrong, for many reasons, but that's for another post.

So I had a few minutes today before the bus comes, so I decided to tackle it again.  You need: Fabric, a box, and a glue gun.  That basic idea is the same as wrapping a present, except that the wrapping paper is fabric and the box is....empty!  And no, I don't condone getting free boxes from the USPS for this project, it's just what I happened to have one hand.

I'm having a hard time coming up with anything earth-shattering to describe this: it's cut, glue, cut and glue, wrap and cut and .....glue.

And then you have a pretty fabric covered storage box.  Voila!  Ten minutes (or less) and free.  Now all I have to do is make a few more, then I'll share with you what will live in there.

Happy Tuesday!
