Are you shopping yet?

Are you holiday shopping yet?  I never start this early, but Carter and I had a great idea for our dad, and we were so excited to go out and find the pieces of the gifts, we did it all today!  This is so unusual for us, but I have to say we were so tickled and thrilled it got us into the holiday way of thinking.  And of all people, our dad is the most difficult person to shop for; he works, he comes home and plays with Car; he really hasn't had a lot of other time to persue other interests; but, we've got him this time...

But shopping for Carter has always been fun, and over the years there have been big winners.  One of the most interesting and fun gifts we got Carter when he was about six was Snap Circuits.....it was a hit!  Some gifts don't live up to their review; not so with Snap Circuits.  There are so many options for building actual circuits that light up, make siren noises and more, react to light, and so much more.  There are over 100 options at least in a very easy to use, visual users manual.  Mom and son alike spent many hours playing and creating new circuits that were fun, engaging and (shhhh!) educational!  This is one I wouldn't pass up!

Another "must have" for years has been anything Lego. And now we have so many Legos; one thing on our list this year is this amazing Lego block sorter: I don't own one yet, but have talked to enough friends that do, that this is a good product with great storage and sorting options.  Put all your Legos in the top, shake, and the pieces sort into four trays by sizes!  Awesome, right?  This is on my list for this year!
