Small victories

Some days are about big projects.....and some days are just about the little victories of everyday life.

I found my credit card. Win.
I restocked my dishtowels at WalMart today....I ended up with a lot of white towels that aren't, well, white anymore.  So I bought these lovelies:

I remembered to drop off a packet for a jewelry giveaway for C's school that I have forgotten to do for three weeks: the giveaway is Friday!  Some hard-working teacher will have her own Mom's necklace in the next few weeks.

And I did a small ORG-anizing project today. John and Sherry over at YoungHouseLove are organizing this week, and a good organizing project always gets me excited! Today....this mess: my workout drawer. No, I don't workout a lot, so I'm not sure why I have a whole double drawer full of clothes here.

Each piece came out, and the stuff that was trash was out first. Then, the things that still are wearable but I haven't went to the GoodWill pile:
Goodwill pile....bye bye!

The pile that was left was culled through for duplicates: I mean, how many paint outfits does one person need? (Rag Pile).

What was left?  Amazingly, very little.  Just what a actually use and wear.

And best of all, I know what's in there! No surprises any more, and I can find what I need.

Let's hear it for small victory days!

Jump in there and attack a small project....or two, or three.  You'll feel better....I promise!!
