Our city has a program called "Art in Place". Sometimes it's really interesting pieces, like huge wooden whale tails or people made out of metal. Sometimes we just drive by and say "I guess it's art" and figure we don't know any better.
There is one piece we love, and we drive by it every Sunday: a stone sculpture of a polar bear. Not only is it cute on its own, but it gets mysteriously decorated each season:
And yes, Santa does, in fact,rock.
